John Anthony Gonzalez was born on June 6th 1961 to Leonard M. Gonzalez and Teresa Gonzalez he was the 11th child of 15.
John first lived in El Sereno Ca. before moving to Alhambra Ca. He attended Garfield Elementary and Graduated from their in 1975 he then attended Alhambra High School and Graduated in 1980.
John's first Job was with the Alhambra School District he worked their until leaving to work for Bank of America in Pasadena Ca. his first job was a bank teller he then moved to work as a loan processor.
John would then turn his sights on a new career as a beautician he started cutting hair working at various salons until settling in at SuperCuts.
John was very personable his customers loved him his Management loved his work ethic and he always had a smile for anyone who came into contact with.
John most recent work was one of giving than receiving he started to go back to school to become a Substance Abuse Counselor he received his certification from Glendale Community College and was performing required hours at Huntington Hospital.
John not only did his required hours but he gave back by cutting hair for those with special needs and patients.
John before his passing was also very involved in Church he taught children Bible Study in Pasadena Ca.
Overall John Anthony Gonzalez was an intelligent gifted well liked man who gave respect and expected it in return. John was always willing to give you the shirt off his back but only if you gave him a chance to tell you why.
John loved music his favorite artist was Miss Donna Summers as well he enjoyed Teena Marie. John loved to watch old reruns of "I Love Lucy" as well as the The Waltons.
John was also survived by his brothers Leonard, Author, Matiniano, David and Vincent and his sisters Louise, Dora, Jovita, Lydia, Viictoria and Irene
John also loved Art Garcia "Shorty" till his last breath!
John loved his family immensely and he gave his soul to keep it together. He loved his Mother unconditionally respected his Father he will be missed by us his family......
