Ronnie Paul Guerra, 79 of Alhambra, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at the family home.
Ronnie was born June 23, 1941 in Los Angeles, CA. He met his wife Margaret M. Bojorquez in 1962 and they married in 1964. He was so very proud of his 56 years of marriage. He was devoted and loved her until his last breath. Aside from his 56 years of marriage, he felt his biggest accomplishment was being a father. He was a loving and dedicated family man and loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and the newest addition his great granddaughter. He appreciated the outdoors which included the beach, hiking and taking the family on yearly camping trips.
Ronnie worked for the Sears, Roebuck and Company for 28 years until they closed the catalog department. He enjoyed driving his tow motor forklift all over the shipping docks.
Ronnie was a devout Catholic who served on the Saint Thomas More church fundraising committee, a church usher and he loved singing in the church choir.
Ronnie was the Los Angeles Rams #1 fan, as well as a Lakers and Dodgers fan. He was a movie enthusiast and had a large movie catalog of VHS and CD’s; Sci-fi was his favorite. Dancing and music was also a favorite pastime as he enjoyed listening to his favorite hits on the radio and vinyl.
Ronnie is survived by his loving wife Margaret and their four children, Teresa A. Slavick and her husband Jay, Irene R. Navarro and her husband Aldo and their children Vanessa M. Navarro, Jordan R. Navarro and her stepson Ray Navarro, Kathy M. Guerra and her partner Jesus Pena, her daughter Amber K. Jones and their children Jessica S. Pena and Joshua S. Pena and her granddaughter Alana M.
